Have you been to the Health Museum recently? Have you seen their new show “Biorhythm: Music and the Body“? It looks fascinating and we’re eager to attend several of the scheduled events that are coming up.

What makes us dance? Why do we sing the blues? Could there be a formula for the perfect hit?

Music is a central part of the human experience, but what is the natural force that drives us to sing, strum, drum and dance? What is the scientific basis of whistling, humming and toe-tapping?

The implications for environmental design, product design, and healthcare design are profound, and the innovative installations described here have to experienced first-hand. We’re happy to see that much of the programing has to do with wellness and rehabilitation.
